NIF invited five of its partners Namely: - SCORE Zambia -(Ms. Besa Chibwe ), Edusport-(Mr. Gregory Sikombleo – Coach), Sport in Action-(Mr. Frank Muchindu Ass. Coach) and SOS Children´s Villages-(Ms. Hazel Ndubakwenda) to have one girl’s team of 16 players (girls 14) and 5 leaders to spend 2 weeks in Norway, from 19 July to 2 August 2009 from Zambia and participate in the Norway Cup 2009. The selection of the team was not only based on sport skills, but also on life skills and the dedication to community work/Kicking Aids Out Activities.

As part of the East Africa Cup crew I was privileged to meet and have lunch with the South African Ambassador in Oslo, Norway; Ms. Beryl Rose Sisulu and the Minister of Sports in Norway.
