NGOs and Governmental representatives meet in Johannesburg for an interactive seminar on Participation Coach Pathway Accreditation Framework  development

On the 16th- 19th of August 2009, an interactive seminar was held in Johannesburg. It was attended by eight of the ten countries in the Zone VI in Africa who constitute the Technical Working group (TWG) in the Sport Education Accreditation Framework (SEAF) project, along with 12 Sport for development Non Governmental Organisations from 7 countries.

The objective was to feed into the project coordinated by the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Sport in Africa Zone VI.

The project is implemented at country level by the Zone’s TWG. 11 of the 12 NGO’s are member or associates to the Kicking AIDS Out Network.

The TWG were excited about the involvement of the NGOs in this process as it meant additional expertise concerning the Participation Coaching. The framework will be owned by Zone VI NGOs and GOs across the Zone VI.
