Kicking AIDS Out have partner organizations in Canada, UK and Norway and have member organizations implementing the programmes in Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, Swaziland, South-Africa, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Vietnam, Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago and Lesotho. What is the difference between a partner organization and a member organization?

Partner: funding agencies and donors that provide strategic, financial, programming and/or organisational assistance to members.
Member: NGOs and/or registered development through sport organisations that are currently implementing sport and physical activity programs to achieve relevant development goals.
Associate: Non-governmental and/or agencies working in the field of sport and/or community development.

The Kicking AIDS Out was an initiative of the Edusport Foundation (a Zambian Sports NGO) adopted by NORAD (the Norwegian Development Agency) in 2001. Read more under The History

An organization that wants to become a member of the Kicking AIDS Out network has to apply using the application form found on the website under Get Involved - New member of the Network.
