Introduction:
The Football Association of Norway (NFF) started a dialogue with Vietnam Football Federation in 1999 and was invited to Vietnam to support the development of grass root football for children. Having run a pilot project in Hanoi since 2001, NFF decided to move their activities to Thua Thien Hue Province in 2003 and establish their office in cooperation with Nordic Assistance to Vietnam (NAV). FFAV’s activities have been implemented in Thua Thien Hue province and selected district in Hai Phong province and Quang Tri province. Its main objective is to create a safe and secure football environments for boys and girls age 6 to 15 with special focus at marginalized group such as ethnic minorities, disable children, HIV infected and affected children and using football as a tool for life skill integration.

The FFAV plays a role in enhancing communities as a healthy, safe and fun place to live through “Football for All”
How is the organization incorporating Kicking AIDS Out:
1. FFAV is a member of Kicking AIDS Out network
2. 2 leaders level 1 course have been organized by FFAV with support from NIF and Kicking AIDS Out network; 51people have been trained in these courses
3. 1 participant from FFAV has participated at the Kicking AIDS Out Leader level 2 organized by Kicking AIDS Out
4.2 peer leader course has been organized in Phong Dien, Quang Dien, Phu Vang and Nam Dong districts .
Kicking AIDS Out have been integrated as a natural part of all football activities in term of movement games
