Introduction:
Established in 2006, NOWSPAR is a not for profit organization that promotes the participation of women in sport and recreation through advocacy, awareness, dialogue, research, policy analysis and conducting of women’s sports activities. At present, NOWSPAR has a membership of 450 organizations, clubs and individuals.
Vision/Mission:
Increased participation of girls and women in sport physical activity and recreation at all levels in all communities and member sports bodies in the country.
How is the organization incorporating Kicking AIDS Out:
Conducts KAO activities during sports events, promotes the KAO concept through media and public awareness on use of sport for HIV/AIDS education. Our contiribution to the KAO Network is input towards gender equality into the various processes and activities.
