Introduction:
Response Network is a norwegian NGO with a branch in Zambia. We visits 40 new villages in Southern Province of Zambia every year, providing motivation and information to communities on how they can start their own sports clubs and other self-help activities. When clubs have proved they can stand on their own feet and not depend on support we invite them for a variety of capacity building workshops to strenghten the clubs
Vision/Mission:
The vision of Response Network is to provide information and encouragement for fully sustainable self-help education projects of community priority. Response Network empowers communities to initiate self-help educational activities, which are planned and implemented by the local people. We believe that sustainable development initially must mobilise peoples’ own human- and environmental resources, therefore we offer capacity building for self help projects. This approach applies several methods to establish communication and facilitate eye openers to enable the community members to see their potentials.
