Introduction:
The SRC is a statutory body charged with the mandate to oversee the development and governance of sport in Zimbabwe.

By 2010, the SRC is a leading, professional and adaptive organization supporting a vibrant sport delivery system contributing to the prosperity of Zimbabwe.
Mission
SRC shall:
1. Promote excellence in sport and recreation;
2. Facilitate access to sustainable sport and recreation opportunities in Zimbabwe
3. Reward its staff and organize staff members to achieve SRC goals and build SRC brand; and
4. Lead by example in governance and accountability and encourage stakeholders to do the same.
How is the organization incorporating Kicking AIDS Out:
Through its own activities and those of other partners inclusing clubs, SRC implements the Kicking AIDS Out movement games as part of the Youth Education through Sport programme.
