Adonal Foyle is a native Vincentian and NBA player is emphasizing the need for balance of sports and education to become successful adults
In 2010, Trinidad and Tobago Alliance for Sport and Physical Education (TTASPE) collaborated with the Adonal Foyle’s Athletics & Academics Camp sponsored by the Kerosene Lamp Foundation (KLF) & the National Basketball Federation of Trinidad & Tobago to implement camps throughout Trinidad and Tobago. The Camps were half-day sessions that taught participants basketball skills, health awareness (nutrition & HIV/AIDS prevention) and the importance of education. The target groups were boys and girls aged ten to fourteen years of age.

Adonal Foyle is a native Vincentian and NBA player who has emphasized the need for balance of sports and education to become successful adults. The lessons are taught by Adonal and some of his NBA coaches and teammates, international professionals and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

The Kicking Aids Out team at TTASPE conducted sessions with over three hundred kids at four locations throughout Trinidad and Tobago. The games targeted issues around prevention, HIV/AIDS awareness and myths surrounding the HIV/AIDS virus.

Shiyana (coordinator of the camps) was grateful to all the coaches for their assistance and successful execution of the games.
