Oscar Mwaanga has been a prominent sport for development leader and activist for the past 15 years. In an article published in the Newsletter "LSA Newsletter No.85-March 2010, he talks of sport For Addressing HIV/AIDS and he is "Explaining his Convictions"
Quote Oscar Mwaanga: "As can be evidence from conferences proceedings,website and organisational document, Sport for addressing HIV/AIDS work has made substantial progress in the last decade. Some notable achievements include training a large number of youth leaders and the development of comprehensive curriculum that articulate how sport is used to deliver HIV/AIDS preventative education".
